TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR FACEBUCK$

"Global Radio" means Global Radio UK Limited and any company which is a subsidiary or holding company (as those expressions are defined in Section 736 of the Companies Act 1985) of Global Radio UK Limited and any subsidiary of any such holding company or any of them; and "Company" means Global Radio;

Radio Station means Galaxy.

From July 29th 2008 to mid-night on the 15th August 2008 the Radio station will be recruiting the general public to enter a picture of themselves via the Galaxy website and Crew activity. All people who send their picture via the web-site, and enter via the ground crew give the radio station permission to use the photo in any promotional material the radio station wishes to do so.
 
By sending or giving the radio station a photograph the supplier is certifying that they have the right to distribute the photograph and that it is a photograph of them and no one else.

Sending or giving the radio station a photograph does not guarantee the picture will be used in a promotion and does not guarantee any kind of prize for the entrant.

Every weekday during weeks commencing 18th August and 25th August, but omitting Bank Holiday Monday 25th August, the Radio station will publish, via online and printed material, a collection of 25 photographs that have been collected by the radio station for the radio station’s Facebuck$ promotion. The same photographs maybe used more than once, and all photographs used will be hand picked at the radio stations total discretion.

One of the photographs on the grid will be selected by the radio station to be the winning photograph. This will be done at the radio station’s discretion before the first on-air competition round each weekday of the contesting period.

The radio station will be using an in-house random number generator programme to pick the winning photograph for each grid.

Submitted photographs must be in colour, clean and decent, and the subject’s full face must be visible.

Contestants must be over 18 to enter.

To win Facebuck$ contestants must correctly identify the winning photograph on the game-card which relates to the same day of game-play. 

Listeners to the radio station will be invited to partake in Facebuck$ game-play on each contesting day.  The first caller through to the studio will be allowed to ask one question to the on-air presenter to assist them in identifying the winning picture.

Once the contestant has asked their question, they will be allowed one guess as to which picture is the winning picture.
The presenter must either give a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer to the question.  If it isn’t possible to give a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer the presenter will inform the contestant that it isn’t possible to answer the question and the listener will be given the opportunity to re-phrase their question.
If the contestant correctly identifies the winning photograph, they will win the prize fund that is stated below...
Sacha at 10:00 is £1,000
Sacha at 12:00 is £750
Matt Spokes at 14:00 is £500
And at 16:00 the prize fund is £250

In the event of an incorrect guess, game-play rolls over to the next round.  If there is no correct answer on a particular day, game-play will restart with a new game-card on the next game-play day. 
As this is a Galaxy network competition, there will be one winner from anywhere across the Galaxy network with the exception of the 1600 round where there could be up to 4 winners across the network, one from each Galaxy regional FM station.
Prizes for officially identifying the winning picture each day whilst adhering to all the radio stations terms and conditions will be paid by company cheque.

The Company cheque will be sent out to the contestant within a 28 day period after winning on-air.
The Company accepts no responsibility for any lost or misappropriated cheque.
The radio station reserves the right to vary the prize value for each competition at its own discretion.

At the end of each week of game-play one of the week’s winning photographs will be randomly selected and the person who registered themselves in that the randomly selected photograph will be sent a company cheque for £1000. The radio station reserves the right to vary the prize value at its own discretion.  The Company cheque will be sent out to the contestant within a 28 day period after winning on-air. The Company accepts no responsibility for any lost or misappropriated cheque.
